Christmas at Wal-Mart

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the store
The customers were heard to exclaim, “What do ya mean you don’t have any more?!?!”
The phones rang off the hook with questions so silly
Parents looking for gifts for dear little Billy
The children are playing merrily in the aisle
The parents screaming at the top of their lungs all the while
The associates in their blue vests
They try to do their very best
But the onslaught is too terrifying
Customers with their last minute gift buying

They come in all shapes and sizes
All looking for those magical Christmas prizes
Looking for that one gift to present
The one that doesn’t cost more than a cent
They come in all angry and surly
Vowing next year to do their shopping early

They push, they shove and yell
It’s one big mess; I can’t tell
Who asked for this movie or that cd
Was it this man or that old lady?

They come and are rude beyond reason
But I guess they don’t understand the season
It’s not about the gifts you buy
It’s not about Santa and reindeer who fly
It’s about a brand new start
And about love in your Heart!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
