Sweetness!

It's been a busy several days... I worked a seven day stretch since I had a weekend off and I've finally crashed long enough to update. I know I posted since Jill's banquet which was the weekend that I had off... It just doesn't feel like it. (And she hasn't posted in FOREVER!) Anyway....

Like I said, I worked a seven day stretch and darn near killed myself working freight like a fiend. I'm very proud to say that we've never gone into a holiday season with a back room looking this good. Our dept. has not a single pallet of freight in the stockroom except the stuff for Black Friday. We have taken over what used to be the Radio Grill and I must say, it's helping sales and saving us problems trying to get merchandise to our customers. I've taken it personally, trying to maintain the level of instock and a zero tolerance policy for freight in the back. Besides, it helps keep me away from the bane of my existence... the holiday shoppers. ;-)

Sunday night I got off of work at seven and hauled butt up to Jill's. *grins* Have I mentioned that I love that girl with all my heart? She was exhausted and pretty much was asleep from the time I got there. *nods* I ordered a pizza and crashed as well. Monday we just kinda chilled and then we went out for lunch, and started to go shopping. She got a call from her mom that we had to pick up her foster sister so we didn't get to do too much more shopping. *chuckles* We hung around the house, she cleaned a little and then we went to type up a list she made of the cars her dad collects. Then we went to Mark's to visit. We left there and picked up some munchies and went to bed. She worked today so she left early this morning and when I finally got up, I went shopping. I needed some new kicks because mine are shot. I went to the store, dropped off some photos and chatted for a few. Then I came home, cooked some supper, and we watched my nieces while my sister took my younger nephew to the doctor's. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for Seth... I dunno if he'll show or not. We're supposed to play some DoD tonight. *shrugs* Anyway... I'm gone!
