Perhaps an actual update

Ahhh yes... *grins* I don't really have any earth-shattering news or long winded rants or even mildly amusing insights that I really want to post. I do however, feel the need to update. I want to put up an interesting post that I can be proud of. I just don't know how to go about that any longer. Perhaps if I just keep typing the words will flow and they may even come together in some form that is acceptable.

My day started out early today. I was meeting Jillian for breakfast after she got off work. I gotta say that I love when she makes time for me... makes me feel so important, special and so loved. At the same time, I can't wait until we don't have to scramble to find time. When I won't feel like I'm making her ignore important things like getting some sleep to spend time with me.

After breakfast I went to wal-mart to get some gatorade because we were playing basketball today. I got to the park an hour early so I stretched out in the backseat of my car and caught a half hour nap before we played ball. Had a good time as usual. No one got majorly hurt. A few bumps and bruises on some of us as usual... I got a poke in the eye but it's all good.

After I got home from playing ball... I got a shower and put a roast in the oven for supper. I caught another nap. *grins innocently* After I got back up, I finished up making supper and have been just kinda chilling ever since. Played a little DoD, been watching the basketball games and just having a nice relaxing evening.

I work the next two days and then I have the weekend off with my baby. She wants to go to the fire expo down in Harrisburg and I need to make a trip to get some new boots for Seth's wedding. I'm really looking forward to just spending time with Jill this weekend and having a good time. I'm not really into the whole "fire" thing but it's time with the woman I love and if she's happy then I'm happy. Hopefully on my boot run I'll get a new belt for the Star Wars belt buckle I bought back at my birthday... :-D Anyways... I'm outtie!
