The Scoundrel to the office, please!

So yeah.... on the upside, I got some much needed rest and feel much better today than I have in days. The drawback here is that I overslept, went to work three hours late and well.... ended up in the office with three slightly upset management types. *huge grin* Somehow I'm strangely ok with the whole thing. Fire me! Do me a favor, please!!! I didn't really get into trouble, no verbal warning, no coaching, write-up or anything... We had a "conversation" regarding my tardiness as of late. The fact that I work six to ten days straight with a schedule that looks like someone blew up a clock has nothing to do with me being tardy... or the fact that I am extremely disenchanted with our company and how things are handled couldn't be affecting that either. Nope. It's that I'm an irresponsible scoundrel! LOL! Anyway, I was told that I'm too valuable an associate to be having these kinds of troubles. That I need to be taking on more of a leadership role and setting a good example being that I'm the most tenured person in our dept. including our dept. mgr. Whatever! I'm sooo ready to get outta that hole! It's scary that even my mom doesn't care about my job anymore... she says that if I get fired I'll hafta just do something else. I'm liking that idea.

Anyway... nothing more really to report today. I'm off the next two days and I plan on having some fun. I have tons of figures to pack away again and I'm gonna play games. I'm outtie!
